GUIDELINES

FOR NEW CHURCH FACILITY

WE ARE GRATEFUL TO GOD’S PROVISION FOR OUR NEW CHURCH AND IN ORDER TO BE GOOD STEWARDS OF OUR NEW CHURCH FACILITY, WE ASK FOR THE COOPERATION OF EVERY MEMBER IN KEEPING THESE GUIDELINES:

1. Permission from the Vestry/Wardens must be granted before any non-church member or group may rent any part of the building. A deposit and a fee may be charged.

2. Any church member requiring the facility for other than church activities will obtain the Vestry’s/Warden’s permission and may be charged for the cost of cleaning, etc.

3. A.A. meetings will take place in the pre-school area.

4. Any member or group or non-church members using the kitchen will leave it in a clean condition.

5. All church activities will be coordinated through the Church Office and will be properly supervised by a responsible adult. There will be scheduled activities for young people to allow them to enjoy the Fellowship Hall.

6. Parents are requested to supervise their children in the church and the hall to allow all members enjoyment in this beautiful building.

7. People will wear socks or white soled sneakers in the hall during sports activities to avoid black marks on the floor. (Extra cleaning means extra money.)

8. It’s important for parents to accompany small children to the washroom in order to prevent them from being locked in.

9. The kitchen will be out of bounds to children to protect them from any injury.

10. Eating and drinking will generally take place in the hall or as posted.

11. Access to the Fellowship Hall should be through the double doors from the Narthex. The office should not be used as a shortcut.

12. Office use restricted to designated staff (Rector, Secretary, Wardens, Treasurer, Vestry, Envelope Secretary, etc.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EVERY CHURCH MEMBER TO KEEP THE COSTS DOWN. LIGHTS WILL BE TURNED OFF AND HEAT TURNED DOWN IN THE WHOLE BUILDING WHEN IT’S NOT BEING USED.
