Purpose

·        To ensure integrity with respect to the purpose of this fund through effective communication and proper financial reporting.

 

Scope

·       This policy applies to all members of St. James the Less Church and to all those who donate to this fund.

 

Policy Statement

·        Funds designated “Rector’s Discretionary Fund”, RDF, or other wording indicating this intent, shall be held in trust apart from the regular budgeted income of the corporation in a fund called the: “Rector’s Discretionary Fund”

·        The balance, income and expenses of this fund will not be included in our annual reporting to Synod.

·        Expenditures from this fund are made at the sole discretion of the Rector for the purposes of furthering the ministry of the Church.

·        Categorized expenditures from this fund will be reported monthly to vestry.
