Purpose
· To ensure non-budget donations designated for a specific purpose by members and friends of St. James the Less Church are processed efficiently and appropriately.
Scope
· This policy applies to all members and friends of St. James the Less Church who make donations to the church
Policy Statement
· The Parish Coordinator shall review all weekly deposit reports and compare them to recent disbursements, and bring to the Rector’s attention any items requiring action.
· The Parish Coordinator is required to access all weekly deposit reports from the date of the last disbursement of the specific non-budget item, and to calculate the sum of contributions to that non-budget item.
· The Parish Coordinator is required to submit this total to the treasurer, who will then write the cheque and to advise the Treasurer of the dates used to determine these amounts.
· The Parish Coordinator is required to note on the last deposit report that funds for that item are paid up to and including that date.
