Purpose
To ensure proper standards and heart in the ministry of Intercession for People and situations.
Scope
This policy applies to all members and guests of St. James the Less.
Policy Statement
General - All believers are free to interceed for other people and situations during public gatherings for prayer and worship provided:
· They are in good standing with The extended leadership team of the Church.
· They are generally willing to grow in their understanding and practice of intercession.
· They are willing to submitt to the person that is leading the time of intercession.
Leadership- Believers are free to lead a time of intercession provided:
· They have been discerned for this ministry by the Prayer and Intercession Leader.
· They are known to be growing in their relationship with the Lord
· They are in good standing with the Ministry Leadership Team and the Extended Leadership of the Church and with people in general
· They agree that personal prayer and study are a priority in their private life.
· They are open to experience Restoritive Prayer Ministry if recommended
· They are willing to fulfill the requirments of specific ministry assignments.
