Scope:

This policy applies to all staff, visitors and members of St. James the Less Church.

Policy Statement:

Personal scented products such as perfume and service products such as cleaning agents produce scents that can be very harmful to many people who use a public space such as St. James the Less Church.  In an attempt to create an environment that is safe for all, St. James the Less, like many public buildings such as schools and hospitals, is making a commitment to reduce the use of scented products that have an adverse effect on many who use the space.  This means that St. James the Less Church is considered a scent-free building.

Responsibilities:

q       Pastoral Staff and Church wardens will inform staff, members and visitors of its scent-free policy and the reasons why this policy is necessary.
